Meet Our Staff

G. Todd Smigelski C.P.A., President

After graduating with an M.B.A. in accounting from Michigan State University in 1992, Mr. Smigelski spent three years in corporate taxation at a large regional C.P.A. firm. Since joining Pesco in 1995 as Vice-President, he has become an owner of the company, and now oversees all business functions within the company. Mr. Smigelski is actively involved in engineering, account management, customer relations, consulting, special projects, R&D, and offshore sourcing. His main customer focus is on wiring troughs, clips and fasteners, insert molds, rotational two-shots molds, and program management in China.

Douglas H. Carmer, Vice-President

Mr. Carmer graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Lake Superior State University in 1983. After graduating, he began his automotive career as injection molding foreman at Leon Plastics. Mr. Carmer then moved to Lear Corporation as a project engineer, specializing in decorative plastics, including in mold appliqué, chrome plating, painting and laser etch. After 5 years at Lear, Mr. Carmer joined Key Plastics as an Engineering Manager, continued to develop his decorative parts specialty, and expanded into under hood components. In 1997, Mr. Carmer went to a decorative component molding company, Fawn Plastics. His position was Director of Engineering, and spent the majority of time working in the climate control and radio bezel area. Mr. Carmer joined Pesco in 2003 as Vice-President, where he continues to grow the decorative mold business, as well as under-hood components, and two-shot. Mr. Carmer is well known for his expertise in the decorative component arena.

Ronald J. Roeber, Engineering Manager

Mr. Roeber has been with Pesco for 29 years. He began his career as an apprentice and through the years completed his training to become a full mold maker. Mr. Roeber became Foreman in 1985 and was promoted to Engineering Manager in 1997. He is highly regarded in the industry, and is frequently consulted by customers as well as outside automotive companies for his mold making expertise. Mr. Roeber directs the designing process both domestically and offshore, and verifies that quality is maintained throughout the mold build.
